Kings on the agenda at Suffolk FWAG spring conference

Kings’ Richard Barnes will be one of a fantastic group of speakers on the agenda for this year’s Suffolk FWAG spring conference.

Richard will focus on the recent surge in interest in the ‘old’ practice of green cover cropping as we apply our modern understanding of crop production to improve soil health, reduce environmental impact and improve crop quality and yields.

Sponsored by Kings, the theme for this year’s event, to be held on Friday 13th February at Trinity Park, Ipswich, is ‘Farming's 20/20 vision - the focus on priorities’. As well as Richard, representatives from Syngenta, LEAF, GWCT, Natural England and Conservation Grade will share their opinions and expertise on a wide range of topics as they consider how agriculture will meet its targets on important issues including water quality, farmland birds, pollinators and long term sustainability over the next five years.
