Kings catalogue 2024 front

The 2024 Kings Environmental Land Management and Specialist Crops catalogue is now available.

The first Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) pilot began in 2021. Since then, Defra has continued to roll out more phases into the scheme with this year seeing some of the most lucrative payment rates yet. The 2024 Kings catalogue is brought to you by our team of experts as a tool to help you find compliant products and activity guidance, whether that be for your SFI option to managing your land for farming, sporting or conservation.

The Kings catalogue has all the recommended products to help support options across current agri-environment schemes in England and Scotland, including but not limited to the SFI.

To help you easily assess whether a product is compliant for your option or otherwise meets your needs, the following additions have been made to this year’s catalogue:

  • Applicable CS and SFI option codes are now stated next to mixtures to indicate where a mixture meets the requirements of an option
  • Enhanced icons to denote grazing suitability in green cover mixes, ley mix variations, and sowing windows have been added
  • Recommended sowing windows are highlighted alongside key information on our most used species and varieties within green cover, game cover and forage crops

Alongside our existing SFI mixes, this year sees the addition of specialist mixes K122 and K117. K122 is an annual legume fallow mix that meets the requirements of AB15 and SFI option NUM3 while K117 is a kale free biennial mix that meets the requirements of Countryside Stewardship option AB9 and SFI option AHL2.

Working alongside our colleagues at Frontier Agriculture and with our precision farming team at SOYL, we can support you as you navigate your way through the opportunities available now and in the future.

As agriculture evolves, we remain continuously by your side, guiding you to make the most of the funding opportunities that lie ahead.
